Thank God for LOVEFiLM

I have to watch a lot of films for my PGCE as I'm teaching three different media subjects. In the last fortnight I've had to watch
Shifty, The Queen and the entire Scream series - and there's gonna be plenty more where that came from. Luckily for me, I can watch a lot online with LOVEFiLM. I've had a subscription for a couple of years now but rather than wait for films to be sent out, it's quicker and easier to
watch films online - instant access! What could be better than that? There are thousands of titles and they vary from being able to watch for free, as part of your package or pay for view. It only cost me a couple of quid to 'rent' Shifty for 48 hours the other day. Sorted, especially when I'm working on a tight budget until my loan is finalised.

  1. Hm...I'm actually planning on getting an account at lovefilm, it sounds quite promising.

  3. ...this is one of the things I love about my Sky Subscription. Through Sky Go you can watch their entire catalogue of films showing each month. Might be worth baring in mind if you consider a Sky film package or whether you need to watch more TV as part of your media training.

  4. My parents have Sky+ HD and I really miss it now that I've moved out. Once the student loan is sorted I think I'm gonna have to convince the boyfriend that we need it :p

  5. Yea, I do now :) I started my PGCE last month - teaching Media to 16+ - hence the lack of me hanging around these parts lately
