I hope it gets accepted, I'd be interested to read your thoughts on the topic. Is it just about female audiences, or would you be examing the role of female characters within comic book movies as well (the lack of one is probably tied pretty closely to the passive nature of the other).

ReplyDeleteIt started out on female audiences then the more I researched and developed the pitch the more I thought about the characters. I'd like to cover this angle in some way but I'll probably leave that for another article and another time. Right now I'm just going for audiences and how it's (almost?) cool to be a (girly) geek these days
